Hi! I’m Lori Hedrick also known by my artist name, Lo Dagger.

In 2015, I found myself at the end of a ten year relationship, deeply addicted to opiates and stimulants. On the surface, I was a high-functioning addict—but inside, I was hollow, disconnected, and exhausted from trying and failing to get clean. I had just turned 40, and I knew this time had to be different. I was sick of my own reflection. I felt so much shame that rehab didn’t seem like an option—I couldn’t bear anyone knowing how bad it truly was. 

One day, I came across Dr. Masaru Emoto’s rice experiment on YouTube—the one where jars of rice soaked in water are spoken to with love, ignored completely, or insulted daily. After 30 days, the “loved” rice remained white and fluffy, the “ignored”rice turned grey, and the “hated” rice was black and decayed. Something clicked. I realized I had been speaking to myself like the blackened jar—and I knew in that moment that if I wanted to get clean and heal a lifetime of heartbreak and trauma, I had to start by reprogramming my inner dialogue.

I turned back to Kundalini Yoga, a practice I had first discovered in the early 2000s, and committed to complete transformation. I approached my healing with unwavering discipline—hours of movement, meditation, mantra, and breathwork every day. I studied the mind, body, and the science of addiction. I cut out every trigger, every toxic influence. Slowly, I got clean.

From there, I went deeper. I became a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher, immersed myself in multiple yogic trainings, therapy, and energetic healing sessions. I began to truly love myself. I forgave the past version of me who took risks, chased chaos, and lived wildly. I dug myself out of the darkness, and now, I stand firmly in the light—not perfect, but present.

Yes, I have certifications and trainings, but my real credentials are my lived experiences. Everything I share, I have used wholeheartedly in my own life. My guidance comes not from theory alone, but from walking through the fire and finding my way back.
